Totally Brewed
Totally brewed started trading in April 2014. Our launch was the culmination of years of home brewing, the desire to create a strong brand and product, and most importantly, a passion for making very good beer! As a home brewer for more than 6 years Rob felt he had a strong knowledge of what made a good pint.... this was coupled with a heavily pregnant girlfriend (now wife) and a desire to change career. It took a win at a national home brewing competition (for what was to become 4 Hopmen of the Apocalypse)to give him the confidence to take the leap and turn professional. It's fair to say the first few months of trading were a huge learning curve, but we could not have had more support from other local breweries, and consider ourselves very lucky to be part of such a fine group of people. At our first professional competition Slap in the Face won gold at the Rail Ale Festival 2014. This was followed by a SIBA Regional Gold award for 4 Hopmen of the Apocalypse in October 2014. In March 2015 we were voted Castle Rock New Brewery of the year by their customers and staff. We have had an incredible first year and hope to go from strength the strength in the coming years. |
