A beer for cask brewed in collaboration with our great buddies from the Hillary Step in Whalley Range Mcr, a very special little beer Mecca to us. Aaron & the team have been expertly stocking our beers for years and when, over a few pints, former Arbor brewer Lewis started talking about a beer idea he'd wanted to do for ages, we decided we should get this recipe down on paper before we forgot the idea completely (this happened a few times and was arranged over consecutive evenings probably over about 9 months) But! eventually, Lewis did just that and with his recipe sorted, we set a date and away we went. Lew' went for a super simple malt base. For this is a beer of simplicity and simple pleasures, softened slightly with a touch of wheat malt and followed up by hot and cold side editions of Mandarina Bavaria, Lemon Drop and Summit hops.
