A rich and complex malt bill drives this beer, giving notes of leather, coffee and bitter chocolate. This is our version for cask that we almost considered dropping from the list! but the people have spoken and it's been very much missed and requested. (sorry, our mistake that one!) So, here it is - back with a vengeance! For this version we use Northern Brewer hops that gives a distinct Manchester nod to the true Northern heritage. Rich, indulgent & dark as the night is long.
