The remarkable thing about a good pint of Best is its exquisite balance between sweet, biscuity malt and tangy, bitter hops. It doesn’t need, or want, anything more. You don’t really pay much attention to a good pint of Best, until, towards the end of the first pint you realise you want another, really badly. That’s a great pint of Best. We think Long Shadows is one of those great Bests.
