The Master Brewer of Náchod Brewery, Miroslav Šmejda, graduated in Fermentation Technology from The Institute of Chemical Technology in Prague.
Under his leadership, the brewery offers the broadest portfolio of beers in the country - a total of 15 kinds. Our best-selling beers are lagers and specialty beers, and also the top fermented beers - Weizenbier, Pale Ale and Stout.
He uses his skills in brewing specialty beers and can even brew the strongest Czech specials 21% pale and 24% dark. The culturing of four kinds of yeasts for bottom fermentation as well as top fermentation is his area of expertise.
