Named for the Slovenian goddess Morana and her role in ushering in the death of winter and the birth of spring this beer is far less terrifying than her many armed appearance. Nor does it typically wield a scythe. It is, however, near alabaster in colour much like her beautiful countenance. Hopped with both Styrian Eagle and Cardinal in honour of Morana’s origin, it has an enticing floral aroma teasing peach and gooseberry on the nose. The first sip reveals the fruit more deeply layering in a hit of quince. Finally, chamomile and green tea round out the flavour like the forgotten memory of catching the first scent of the blossoms of spring on the warm breeze.
