Unique in taste, Jever is one of the finest German pilseners out there. This refreshing lager has been made with the same pure, soft water from the same well for over 100 years and strictly adheres to the Germany Purity Law.

Bright gold and sparkling clear, Jeverís high carbonation gives an attractive appearance as well as a clean, crisp finish. Grassy and floral notes are accompanied by a distinct graininess. Jever is very thirst quenching thanks to its long dry finish and firm bitterness.

More accurately called the Friesisches Brauhaus zu Jever, this brewery was founded in 1848 in the town of Jever, Germany. It survived through two World Wars, with one brewer killed at the front during WWI, and fuel and malt shortages during WWII affecting production. In the post-war years, Pilsener beer became more and more popular and Jever was soon considered a classic Frisian Pilsner style.

Its unique taste comes from the pure, soft brewing water drawn from a nearby spring, which allows the brewmaster to add more bittering hops. Extremely crisp, Jever is rated among Germany’s best premium pilsners.
