Bitter & Twisted is a superbly-balanced, refreshingly-lively beer. It has a malty-sweet aroma with a floral, fruity hoppiness and a zingy, zesty flavour. Complex, rounded, sweet and dry; this is the connoisseurs' session beer par excellence! It was first brewed in 1997 shortly after which (and unrelated to the new brew) a wee fracas broke out in the brewhouse. Feathers flew. There was some colourful language. One or more wives may have been involved. Nobody can remember exactly who was called "bitter & twisted", by whom, or even why! But it was one heck of a name-day for this great beer!
