The name, Grey Trees, comes from the English translation of the village where the brewery was born, Llwydcoed. Llwydcoed is a beautiful village in Aberdare, South Wales.
After a successful first few years, we moved the brewery to a larger premises, breathing new life into an old industrial unit in Aberaman, Aberdare. Although our location changed, everything involved in making the very best crafted ales stayed the same, even the local fresh Welsh water source.
We are extremely proud to say that our brewery is now producing proper beers, crafted locally with the best hops, finest malts and tastiest flavours. Our customers enjoy our beers in bottles, cans and kegs, and we supply direct to pubs, cafes and restaurants.
From day one, we’ve ensured each brew is given the dedicated time and passion it deserves. We believe our consistent and thorough approach allows us to continue producing high quality, award winning beers.
We now have a fantastic brewery that receives so much support from a caring community and continues to thrive each day.
