We first brewed our cask-only Golden Ale Never A Frown earlier in the year and it flew out. This light golden ale uses a simple pale ale malt base with a little cara malt for sweetness and a touch of golden colour. We fermented with english ale yeast and for this version we opted for hopping in the boil and a little dry hop addition of noble hop variety, Mandarina Bavaria for a light and pleasant orange finish.
